Is DAZZM a new company?

No! We’ve been developing custom enterprise applications since 2000 with express industry expertise in healthcare, service management and government. Now, no-code platform creators, DAZZM is a growth-minded, progressive software company located in Montreal, Canada with satellite offices in France.

Through this passion, we created the DAZZM no-code enterprise application creation platform to counter limitations and frustrations derived from traditional software development. Our core focus from day one has always been agility, beautiful design and user experience. As a company we are early agile adopters, incorporating the agile philosophy at every touchpoint, across every facet of our organization – not just in software development. How do you safeguard governance, compliance and data security?

We prioritize governance, compliance, and data security because we understand the critical importance of maintaining a sound, secure architecture for our no-code SaaS development platform.

DAZZM relies on serverless Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide a trusted and secure infrastructure layer, allowing us to remain focused on continuously enhancing the platform’s functionalities while also implementing additional security controls, including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and monitoring to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer data

To ensure governance and compliance, we are in the process of obtaining SOC II Type II certification. This certification confirms that our platform's security controls are effectively designed and implemented to protect sensitive data. Through independent auditors, our systems and processes are regularly audited, guaranteeing our compliance with industry-standard security and privacy requirements.

Is DAZZM a low-code or no-code platform?

A great question! Short answer? It’s both. DAZZM gives you the freedom to create custom high-quality enterprise applications, at an accelerated pace, without ever having to code a single line. But when needed, you also have the flexibility to independently access the platform’s back-end should you require a highly customized solution to meet your challenges. It’s what we call an “almost codeless” approach to development, blending the best of both worlds.

Who is DAZZM designed for?

DAZZM is designed with development team workflows and lifecycle management in mind. But, being mostly no code, it also caters to business technologists and cross-departmental teams. With a NoSQL database, visual workflow designer and a rich executable domain model centered around commands and APIs, the platform is powerful for development teams, but collaborative and inclusive for business teams.

Can I integrate DAZZM build apps with other applications?

Absolutely! Because we strongly believe in small, interconnected apps and decoupled architectures, enterprise applications created with DAZZM can seamlessly send and receive data and events from your existing systems and applications. DAZZM’s open APIs and event-driven architecture allow you to effortlessly integrate your mission-critical applications so that you work efficiently and effectively.

How does pay-per-profile work?

Just like everything we do - our pricing is flexible and uncomplicated. Starting with profile-based licensing (heavy, moderate or occasional usage), you pay only for what you use, avoiding costly, unused user-binding licenses. With no assigned user to each license, freely share licence usage allowing mid-sized and even significantly larger teams to benefit from balanced pricing leading to year-over-year savings and sustained ROI.

Is pricing affected by the number of apps created?

No, you can create unlimited applications without worrying about cost overruns. In fact, we strongly encourage and recommend that you create multiple small interconnected applications, instead of fewer larger monolithic applications.

What are the setup or implementation fees?

Implementation costs are assessed upfront when initially scoping the project. Our platform experts work alongside your team to optimally build your first application, guiding and training your developers throughout the process. This onboarding and implementation process typically takes three months and may require additional specialists and experts, depending on the size of your team, scope and project complexity.

What kind of training do my developers need?

We get it. Transitioning to a new way of developing software solutions is a technical, organizational and cultural shift. We got you covered. Through our structured on-boarding process, your team will be guided through each phase – from discovery to go-live – gaining expertise and autonomy along the way. We also have a series of training videos at your disposal for additional in-depth learning.
